How we work

Common questions

What to expect

How do I get started?

Request an appointment through Mind Body Align Counseling's client portal. You'll be matched with a clinician based on your needs, preferences, and availability.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is required. You can reach out directly through the client portal or by phone.

How long does therapy take?

It depends on your goals and what you're working through. Some people benefit from short-term focused work; others prefer longer-term support. You and your therapist will set goals together and revisit them over time.

What if I'm not sure which therapist is right for me?

That's completely normal. Reach out and the team will help match you based on specialty, availability, and fit. A good therapeutic relationship matters more than any single modality.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. Telehealth sessions are available for Oregon residents. Some clinicians also offer in-person sessions at the Portland locations.

What if I'm in crisis?

If you're in crisis, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room. The client portal is not monitored for emergencies.
