I am a tender-hearted queer therapist who is passionate about supporting folks affected by systemic marginalization, oppression, and anyone who feels outside the mainstream. Engaging in therapy is a courageous act. From a trauma-informed perspective, I aim to treat you with dignity and respect. Holding space for your experiences, feelings, and story would truly be an honor.
With over 12 years of experience working with youth and families in community, outpatient, and inpatient settings, I can provide short-term stabilization or long-term care for trauma-processing and depth-oriented support. I am trained in using EMDR and IFS to guide your inner world to a space of empowerment and self-nurturance. I can provide skills training using DBT and CBT through relational and somatic lenses. My approach in working with couples is poly/ENM-affirming, LGBTQIA+-informed, and leans on attachment theory using EFT.
I meet you exactly where you are at using a compassionate, anti-oppressive, harm-reduction approach. Our work together will be centered around connection, liberation, creativity, and enhancing presence using mindfulness. May this space help you deeply know yourself. I embrace ancestral work and recognize ancestors as a powerful resource and portal for understanding generational patterns. I specialize in spirituality and integrating altered states of consciousness from a transpersonal psychology and Inayatiyya Sufi perspective. I believe that a decolonized approach to therapy and life is a huge component in returning to an embodied sense of wholeness and wellness.
Being an effective therapist means doing my own healing work. I am committed to life-long growth, accountability, and humility.
