Heidi Scanlan, LCSW

As the founder and executive director of The Alignment Collective, I believe healing happens best in community. My path to this work has been shaped by both personal experiences and over 15 years in mental health care, spanning crisis response, hospital social work, VA service, and clinical supervision. 

I created The Alignment Collective to expand access to trauma-informed, integrative care for veterans, families, and perinatal populations—communities too often left behind by traditional systems.

In my therapy practice, I specialize in EMDR for trauma recovery, EFT for couples, and postpartum/perinatal mental health. I support adults, teens, couples, veterans, active-duty service members, and families with a direct yet compassionate approach that fosters clarity, resilience, and connection.

Whether you are healing from trauma, strengthening your relationship, or navigating the transitions of new parenthood, I tailor therapy to your needs with evidence-based and body-based practices.
