Dana Fears, LPC, NCC, CADC-II, ACS

Woman smiling with beaded earrings.

Licensed Professional Counselor BrainSpotting • Trauma • Grief • Somatic Healing • Clinical Supervision

For Dana, healing is a process of coming back into alignment with ourselves. It is reconnecting with our bodies, our stories, our values, and the parts of ourselves we may have disconnected from in order to survive.

Throughout her life and clinical work, she has learned how to sit at the intersection of suffering and transformation and help people find themselves there. Her approach is warm, relational, intuitive, and depth oriented.

Dana specializes in Brainspotting, a brain and body-based approach that helps process experiences that may live beyond words. She integrate Brainspotting with somatic practices, Jungian perspectives, shadow work, parts work, attachment-based therapy, RO DBT, mindfulness, and trauma informed care.

Much of her work centers around the places where life asks us to transform grief, trauma, illness, disability, identity shifts, and moments where the life we planned meets the life we are living. She has a special passion for supporting individuals navigating neurological conditions, cancer survivorship, chronic illness, medical trauma, and changing relationships with their bodies.

Her own lived experiences with significant medical challenges have shaped her

understanding of grief, resilience, and rebuilding trust with the body. These experiences have deepened her commitment to anti ableist care where people are honored beyond diagnoses, limitations, productivity, or assumptions placed upon them.

She also recognizes that healing happens within a larger story. Families, workplaces, healthcare systems, communities, and institutions shape our experiences. She support clients in exploring both personal wounds and the impact of systemic harm with compassion and curiosity.

As an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and as a therapist for therapists, supporting healers is one of the greatest honors of her work. Her approach centers reflection, authenticity, intuition, and helping healers reconnect with the unique gifts and wisdom they bring into their work.

Finding Alignment Collective feels deeply meaningful because its name reflects what she have always believed about healing: we are not here to erase ourselves, but to return to ourselves, and she is grateful to be part of a community that honors the connection between mind, body, story, and spirit.

Together, we can move toward greater alignment, not by becoming someone else, but by becoming more fully ourselves.
